The long wait for the NFL season has finally come to a close as millions will enjoy the first peek of the preseason tonight in the contest between the Bills and Giants as a part of the Hall of Fame game. I would normally put some explanation next to my rankings but today I felt like pushing these out for Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, whom I vehemently disagree with from an NFL standpoint. I would, however, like to say that I have invested some faith in many of these teams despite their low rankings to compete will in their division. As an added bonus I have added the projected standings at the bottom of the rankings. These power rankings reflect the way I feel about the teams as we enter Week 1 of the regular season. As the weeks go on I believe that certain teams will vault others and overtake critical positions in the rankings.
